Students have the opportunity to sharpen their number sense by writing numbers to add to a scroll. On the 100th Day of School scholars saw Nova’s longest number scroll. It rolled out the gym and into the Great Room! Students are challenged to beat this record and create a long number scroll of their own. Please note, this is an OPTIONAL activity for all scholars. At the end of the school year, we will recognize student’s hard work with awards acknowledging how high each scholar wrote. We will do our best to provide the next page for your student's scroll when they are returned to school.
Things to remember:
- Return completed number pages to school so they can be added to your student's scroll.
- STUDENTS should write one number in each box.
- Don't forget to write your name on each page!
- All completed scroll pages are due back to school no later than May 25th. *NOTE: Pages returned to school after this date may not get added to the student's scroll or count toward their award.
